Texas Freid Chicken

Postby scyeo » 11/06/10 8:49 am

its back .... after folding up more than more than 15 yrs ago ....

Texas "Churches" Fried Chicken !! ...except they took out the "churches" name already.

saw their outlet at Singapore Expo, outside Hall 4.

had an opening offer when they opened on 9 jun .... first 100 customers will get free fried chicken for 1 whole year .... duuno abt the t&c though.

was expecting a crowd ...so i just popped by ard 10am on the 9th ...but did not see much of a crowd ...maybe abt 30 ppl or so had gathered outside the restaurant .... then i just drove off.

the funny thing is when i slowly drove past the outlet, all the eyes there just followed my car expecting me to stop and join the queue !!

anyway, will drop by there tmr afternoon to get my late lunch.

All this talk about fried chicken is making me hungry!

My wife and I like Popeye's chicken. There's an outlet at Changi Airport (T1 or T2, can't remember) and also the Singapore Flyer. Not sure where else. Really oily, but we like both the chicken and muffins... not something that you can eat often though!
I'm organising a Defensive Driving Course for TeamChevySG.
Dates are already fixed for 18/25 September so let me know if you're interested!

T1 is closed for renovation, the other one is at T3 basement and they also have outlet at Century Square in Tampines.

Toa Payoh Entertainment Complex(near Courts) also have... First floor.
Only thing I don't like about Popeyes is that their chicken parts are shrinking and no more Syrup for their biscuits...

Talk about oily, KFC is  ...

Never tried TFC, maybe I should if I have to be at Expo...

I won't go all the way to Expo just for fried chicken...... unless they have branches in central, west or south.

kekeke ... i stay simei .... so hahahhah !!! i like the TFC esp when its fresh from the cooker .. and when u bite into it, the oil can still drip out of the chicken !! then got kick !!

also, one of their selling points is that they supposedly dish out bigger parts.

anyway, tmr after work will pop down to get a pack.
