hmmm don kill me but just a tot :

Since we're arriving CH so early in the morn, how abt we set off for KL on Sat aftnoon aft lunch? If we leave on Sat, the only thing we missed might be the Passar Malam as most of the things can be covered on fri.

But those ppl who wana join us in Malaysia can drive up to KL and on sun we guage the time home too.. Can do dinner in JB too..

Just a rephrase of what she meant... Fri reach CH and leave after checking out the next day(check out times are 12-1pm). Proceed to convoy to KL, then check-in hotel there and free and easy. Meet for dinner maybe in chinatown or etc... Sun morning also got time to walk around, then check-out in the afternoon. Drive all the way back to JB for seafood dinner. After that ppwc and home sweet home...

having fri and sat morn to explore, we more or less cover the backbone of the touristy part of CH. But if u wish to have more time to explore CH, we shall stick to the original plan.

Just an interest gauge to see if the participants are keen to travel to KL.

If I go, I will join in the <140kmh convoy

I will avoid driving in KL on weekend. Might also extend 1 day at Genting. In anycase, pls plan ahead first. I can OTOT one

no prob.. U alone or with ur partner? My guide told me be tat there's a short cut to genting from CH which will take ard 1 hr taking the mountain range. But looking at the map, hmmm like not very possible considering the distance. I put u under interested party la. (",)

No problem with that. If going, likely alone or bringing 1 male friend (I AM STRAIGHT!) which main interest is for the genting trip the 3 hills (CH, frazer, genting) are interconnected.

Yesh! I finally got the ID of the good food in simpang pulai. It's the famous Bidor Duck noodles!!

We can stop by here for refueling and breakfast. It's a detour along the way to Simpang Pulai. My frds told me the wait can be up to half an hr at times..

yeap, it's in Bidor, a small town in Perak (Ipoh is a town in Perak). i check my Iphone earlier, it's a little detour before Simpang Pulai exit. Read reviews tat they're opened as early as 0730hrs!

Actually Simpang Pulai is in Perak, aft u ascent the mt, u can see 1 selamat Jalan (from Perak) and Selamat Datang (Pahang territory). Whoa seh... Malaysia big..


Exit to A131 from E1 (NSH), pass St Joseph Church on ur right then turn left to Jln Besar.


It's 502.7km from SG (says 5.5hrs on fone)
From there, it's another 75.8km (apx 1hr) to CH.
